latest free software offering is
Grid Convert, a stand-alone file format conversion utility. Grid
Convert imports and exports a variety of grid formats, so you can use grids
created in other software packages in Surfer, or export your Surfer grids for
use in other software, such as ArcView/ArcGIS. Grid Convert also converts
GeoTiff images into grids, so you can access georeferenced data distributed in
this format, and can output your grids as XYZ triplets. For more information,
